Who is responsible

What we collect and why

• Orders. When you buy, Stripe and Onelink collect your name, email, billing country and payment details to take payment, work out tax and send your receipt. We can see your email, what you bought and whether your payment and membership are active, never your full card number. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
• Delivery emails. We use your email address to send your download links and, if you have Fueled Weekly, your weekly recipes and membership messages (such as the reminder before a paid month starts). Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
• Download and recovery requests. When you use a download link or the recovery form we check your order with Stripe and keep a short record so the service works and can't be abused. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the service.
• Support emails. If you email us we keep the conversation so we can help. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Recipe and offer emails. If you buy from us, we may email you recipes and offers about our other books and Fueled Weekly, because they are similar to what you bought. You can say no on the thank-you page, in your order email, or with the unsubscribe link in every email. If you were on our list at our previous store (Stan) and chose to hear from us there, we email you on the basis of that choice, and you can unsubscribe the same way. We keep your email address, where it came from (and the wording you agreed to, for Stan contacts), roughly which country you are in, and which of these emails we have sent you. Before sending an offer we check with Stripe what you already bought, so we don't email you about something you have. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in telling customers about similar products (and your consent, for Stan contacts), which you can stop at any time.

We only send marketing emails to customers about similar products, or to people who agreed to receive them, and you can stop them at any time. We do not sell your information. Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. To see how the site is used we count page visits and button clicks (for example how many visits reach the prices, and whether the visit came from TikTok). We also count roughly which country and city visits come from, which our host (Cloudflare) works out from the connection. These counts are anonymous: we do not use cookies for them and do not record your IP address or anything that identifies you. If you get the free plan, we note which country you signed up from and whether you downloaded it.

Who we share it with

• Stripe and Onelink (payments, tax, receipts, fraud prevention, membership billing and the page where you manage or cancel your membership).
• Resend (sends our emails for us).
• Cloudflare also stores our email list securely (Cloudflare D1).
• Cloudflare (hosts the website and the downloads).

Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where that happens the transfer is covered by the UK's approved safeguards, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Order and billing records: six years, for tax and accounting. Membership email records: while your membership is active and for up to two years after it ends. Download and recovery logs: up to 90 days. Support emails: two years. Recipe and offer email list: until you unsubscribe; after that we keep only your email address and the date you unsubscribed, so we never email you by mistake again.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@fueledrecipes.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
